Within the last eight months, it seems as if there has been an influx of new blood at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History (SCDAH). For several of us new employees, this is our first archives job post-graduate school. Since we all came from different graduate programs, work experiences, and backgrounds, we decided to co-author a post about our transition from student to professional life in order to highlight the similarities and variances in our experiences.
